New Delhi,(Sanjay Minka)-India’s COVID-19 tally on Thursday increased by more than 50,000 cases, taking the total above 15.83 lakh on Thursday, with active cases nearing 5.3 Lakh and overall recoveries past the 10 Lakh mark. The total coronavirus cases in the country stand at 15, 83,792, including 5, 28,242 active cases and 10, 20,582 recoveries. The overall death toll stands at 34,968. In the last 24 hours, India’s total COVID-19 caseload increased by 52,123, while active cases rose by 18,795, which is the biggest single-day rise yet. The recoveries went up by 32,553 in a day, which is the lowest single-day rise in the last three days, while the total deaths surged by 775. The gap between recoveries and active cases increased to 4.92 lakh.
