(COMMISSIONER OF POLICE,LUDHIANA)-Domestic travellers coming to Ludhiana (or for that matter to anywhere in punjab) from other states are required to be home quarantine for 14 days. such persons are also required to activate COVA app on their mobiles all the time. Please do not take this lightly. 14 days quarantine period is very much required to control spread of corona virus. it is for the larger benefit of society. Police will be very strict in enforcing this. Joint teams of civil, police and health department are checking of such travellers round the clock. Police take strict action against those who will be found violating this. Already registered 2 FIRs and fined 6 persons for violating home quarantine norms. Neighbours are also requested to keep vigil on such persons and inform us on 112 or 104 in case of any violation.
