Six-day lockdown in Kashmir Valley till July 27

Delhi,(Sanjay Minka)-The Jammu and Kashmir administration has reimposed a six-day lockdown in Kashmir Valley till July 27 after a sharp spike in coronavirus cases over the last three weeks. The lockdown has been imposed in entire Kashmir Valley except for Bandipora district. “Complete lockdown in all Red districts (excluding Bandipora) of Kmr (Kashmir) Div (Division) from today evening till 6 am on 27-7-2020,” the Jammu and Kashmir administration’s Department of Information and Public Relations said in a statement. However, movement of goods carriers, LPG and oil tankers will continue unhindered, the J&K administration added. Agriculture, horticulture and construction activities will also continue.
